Minichamps
Minichamps is the model brand of Paul's Model Art, a German manufacturer that has built diecast replicas since 1990. The range we carry is Formula 1 in 1:43, covering the 2021 to 2024 seasons — race-specific cars rather than generic liveries, so a model represents one car at one Grand Prix, with the driver, the result and the markings that car actually carried that weekend.
Edition sizes matter more here than in most collecting. Minichamps sizes each run by how well known the driver is rather than by how the race went, which is why the second car of a team is usually the scarcer model — 384 pieces against 576 for a team-mate, in one documented case 144 against 528. Collectors who want matching team pairs are better off buying the less famous driver first, because that is the one that sells out.
