This box reached stores on August 4, 2010, a month before Tim Tebow played his first regular-season NFL game — yet Panini already listed him among the game's stars. The Denver Broncos had taken him with the 25th pick of the 2010 draft that April, and he appears here alongside established names such as Peyton Manning, Drew Brees and Adrian Peterson.

NFL Adrenalyn was Panini's easy-to-learn trading card game for the National Football League, built to bring new fans into card collecting. Players build a fantasy team and play it against their opponents, and every card carries an activation code for an online version where the collection could be entered and played against friends.

Each box holds 50 packs of 6 cards. A typical box delivers 2 Ultimate cards, 6 Extra Signature cards, 6 Extra cards and 25 Special cards. The expanded set runs to 608 cards: 448 base cards with 14 players from every NFL team, 64 Special cards, 32 Extra cards, 32 Extra Signature cards and 32 Ultimate cards.
