2010/11 Panini Adrenalyn XL NHL Hockey Booster Display | 50 Packs | Factory Sealed

Panini brought the Adrenalyn XL format to the NHL in January 2011, after runs in football, basketball and soccer. The idea was a card game simple enough to learn in a minute: build a fantasy roster, play it against a friend, and chase the rarer cards to strengthen it. Ovechkin, Brodeur, Crosby, Malkin, Lundqvist, Taylor Hall in his rookie season — all ten players from each of the thirty NHL teams.

This is a sealed booster display: 50 packs, 6 cards per pack.

The set runs to 450 cards: 300 base, 60 Special (1:2 packs), 30 Extra (1:8), 30 Extra Signature (1:8) and 30 Ultimate (1:23).

That is unusual for a product at this price point — you know what comes out before you open it.

One thing to be clear about: every card carries an activation code for the Adrenalyn XL online game, where players once built virtual collections and competed for prizes. That platform belongs to 2011. Treat the codes as part of the period detail, not as a working feature.

The display has never been opened and remains in its factory shrink wrap.
