WizKids 2011 The Smurfs Tag-Athon Collectible Game | 24-Figure Display Box | Factory Sealed

One of the Smurfs in this box did not exist before 2011. Gutsy Smurf — kilt, Scottish accent, sideburns — was created for the Sony film The Smurfs, released in the United States on July 29, 2011, where Alan Cumming voiced him. He appears neither in Peyo's comics nor in the 1980s cartoon series. WizKids made this game for the year of the film, and Gutsy is among its figures, next to classic Smurfs such as Grouchy and Vanity.

The game is a collectible miniatures game of tag. Players choose from eight Smurf characters and score points by tagging each other, for two to four players. Every figure comes individually wrapped with its own rules card that explains everything needed to play, so the game can start with the figures alone.

This is a sealed gravity-feed display of 24 individually wrapped figures. The figures are packed blind: which of the eight characters a wrapper holds, and how many of each a display contains, is random.
