A track rather than a car

Almost everything COBI makes is a vehicle. This is the surface it drives on, and that changes what the set does.

A finished car sits on a shelf. A piece of circuit is somewhere for cars that already exist to go — and since COBI's small vehicles are all roughly the same size and fully compatible with each other, this works with whatever is already in the box: the Maserati at 1:35, the Monster Trux machines, the Action Town cars.

That is the reason to buy a set like this. On its own it is a hundred and twenty pieces and a figure. Alongside four or five small cars it turns a collection into a scene, and a scene gets played with for longer than a model does.

In the COBI range

Part of the Monster Trux line for younger builders, with sets 20052 and 20059. The small cars that suit it best are the 1:35 Maseratis (24560, 24565), the Volkswagens (24614, 24660–24663) and the Action Town vehicles.
