QMan The Raging Warrior Set 1407
Qman's The Raging Warrior is one box from a six-set combining series. Each box builds one vehicle; collect all six and they join into a single large robot. Age 6+.
One box, one vehicle — read this before ordering
This is the point to be clear about, because it is easy to misread.
The series consists of six different vehicles sold separately: a megayacht, an assault vehicle, a cruiser, a rescue car, an aircraft and a motorcycle. Each box contains one of them. The robot on the packaging is what you get if you buy all six.
Bought alone, this set is a complete vehicle and a perfectly good model. Bought as one of six, it is a limb.
It is the oldest business model in the transforming-toy trade and it goes back to Japanese television of the 1970s — a child who buys one has a reason to want five more, and the sixth thing they get is free. Whether that is clever or cynical depends on your mood; what matters here is knowing which you are buying.
Why the combined form is worth the collecting
A team of six separate machines and one giant one are not the same object, and the moment of combination is what every series built on this idea is reaching for.
Doing it with bricks changes one thing, and it is the good change: the transformation is not a mechanism built into the toy. It is something the builder performs, by hand, having understood how the pieces go together.
