A factory-sealed booster box of System Lords, the first expansion of the Stargate Trading Card Game — 36 booster packs of 11 cards. Every box contains the full set of six all-foil Ultra Rare cards.

System Lords was released in August 2007 and turned the game toward the villains. Its starter decks were built around the Goa'uld Ba'al, Apophis, Osiris and Yu, and the booster packs added new team characters — Tok'ra, NID, Russian and Jaffa — and a new game mechanic, Dominion, for players on the villains' side.

A card game that existed twice

The Stargate TCG was designed by Sony Online Entertainment and published on paper by Comic Images, and it launched in April 2007 in both forms at once: an online game and a physical one, with the same cards. Players who completed a digital set could redeem it for the physical cards through a program called Through the Gate.

The online game has long since closed. The physical cards are what remains, and a sealed box is the only way to see them as they were sold.
