Playmobil 71088 – Advent Calendar: Christmas Baking

Playmobil's Advent Calendar Christmas Baking (71088), from 2022, builds a holiday baking scene over 24 days from 92 pieces, with four figures including Santa Claus.

Behind the doors are a kitchen with an oven, baking trays and utensils, a snowman to build and dress, Santa's sleigh, and small presents to fold together from printed card. A cardboard backdrop shows the kitchen against a snowy night, and the pieces are arranged on it day by day until the scene is complete.

Cookie cutters for the real kitchen

Most of an advent calendar stays in the toy box. This one does not. Among the contents are full-size cookie cutters and a cookie stamp — not play pieces, but working tools, made for baking actual Christmas cookies with an adult in an actual kitchen.

It means the calendar ends where it started: the Playmobil family bakes on the table, and the family at the table bakes the same thing.
