Playmobil 71006 – Wiltopia DIY Advent Calendar: Animal Trip Around the World

Playmobil's Wiltopia DIY Advent Calendar: Animal Trip around the World (71006) holds 23 animals from every continent, with their habitats and a researcher figure to follow them.

It is built differently from a normal advent calendar. Instead of a single box with doors, it has 24 small boxes that are filled by hand, so the order of the surprises is up to whoever fills them. Turned over after opening, the boxes form a panorama of the animals' habitats that is complete by the last day. A sticker sheet with letters and animal pictures lets the boxes be decorated, for example with a child's name.

Made largely from plastic that was already used once

Wiltopia is the first Playmobil range made on average from more than 80 percent sustainable material. Most of that is plastic waste that has been recycled into new figures and animals, and the range carries the same safety standards and durability as the rest of the Playmobil line.

For a set about animals and the places they live, it is a fitting choice of material.
