COBI Nano AAT Vehicle Desert Set 2244

COBI's Nano AAT Vehicle Desert is built from 42 blocks into a wheeled off-road vehicle in desert colours, 6 cm long. The wheels move, the radio antenna is flexible, and the windows and front body detail are printed rather than applied as stickers. Age 5+.

What Nano means in COBI's range

Nano is the smallest thing COBI makes. Forty-two pieces, six centimetres, and a build measured in minutes rather than hours.

The interesting part is what survives at that size. A forty-two-piece vehicle cannot have an interior, opening doors or a modelled engine, so everything has to be done with the silhouette — and COBI still printed the windows and the front details rather than leaving them blank or supplying a sticker.

These sets exist for three purposes. They are the cheapest possible introduction to the brand, they fit in a pocket or a stocking, and they are useful to experienced builders as a source of small specialised parts.

At 5+ this is also one of the few genuinely age-appropriate military-themed sets COBI makes for a young child: nothing sharp, nothing small enough to worry about, and no weapons.
