COBI Maserati GranCabrio Set 24504

COBI's Maserati GranCabrio is a 1:35 model built from 97 blocks under original licence from Maserati, 14 cm long, with wheels that roll on rubber tires. The body shape uses parts made specifically for this model and all markings are printed.

A small set, deliberately

At 97 pieces this is an evening's build rather than a project — a desk piece, or a way into the range for a younger builder.

The car it copies is the open version of the GranTurismo: a four-seat convertible with a fabric roof, powered by the same Nettuno V6 that Maserati developed in Modena for the MC20, using a Formula 1 pre-chamber ignition system to make 490 hp in this application.

One of COBI's small 1:35 Maseratis, with the GranTurismo Folgore (24506) and the Levante S (24507). The large 1:12 models are the MC20 (24335) and the MC20 Cielo (24352).
