The figure is a real person from the community

The KIDDIZ figure in this box is modelled on de_drickbuur, one of the builders from the brick community, and that is unusual enough to be worth pointing out.

Most toy manufacturers treat the enthusiast community as an audience. A few treat it as a design resource — running competitions, licensing fan designs, occasionally putting a contributor's likeness into a product. Kiddicraft does the last of those more than most, and the Held der Steine and Johnny's World figures in set KC1406 are the other example.

It works because this end of the market is small and the people in it know each other. A German brick brand competing against a Danish giant cannot outspend anyone; what it can do is be part of the conversation the enthusiasts are already having.

The roller is the part nobody explains

A grassland roller is towed across a meadow in spring, and its job is to press the turf back down.

Over winter, freezing and thawing lifts the soil — frost heave — and pushes stones to the surface while loosening grass roots from the ground beneath them. A loose root dries out, and a stone in a meadow will eventually meet a mower blade at speed.

Rolling firms the surface, pushes stones back down, and restores contact between root and soil. It is among the first jobs of the farming year, done in a narrow window when the ground is dry enough to bear the weight and soft enough to compress.
