QMan Engineering Mecha Set 1417

Qman's Engineering Mecha is a 6-in-1 set built from 479 blocks: six construction vehicles that combine into one large engineering mech. Supplied as a strip of six individual boxes, each with its own instructions. Age 6+.

Six boxes, not one

This version comes as a retail display strip: six small separately sealed boxes joined together. The contents are identical to set 1417D, which packs the same six models into a single gift box with a carry handle.

One large box is one present. Six small boxes are six — a stocking, a party bag, a reward jar, or six Friday afternoons handed out one at a time. It is the same product solving two different problems.

What the six vehicles are

A drill car, a heavy transporter, a bulldozer, a claw excavator, a jib crane and a concrete mixer — and then all six together as the mech.

Construction vehicles work particularly well for this format, because the machinery on them is external. A bulldozer has a visible blade and rams, an excavator a visible arm, a crane a visible jib. There is nothing hidden under bodywork, so even an 80-piece model reads clearly as the machine it is meant to be.
