COBI KTO Rosomak (PL / UA) Set 2629

COBI's KTO Rosomak is a 1:35 model of Poland's eight-wheeled armored personnel carrier, built from 666 blocks under an official license from Rosomak S.A., the company that manufactures the real vehicle.

The wheel axles steer, the hatches open, and the Polish Land Forces markings are printed directly onto the blocks rather than applied as stickers, so they will not peel or fade. Two brick flags are included for the countries that operate the vehicle, Poland and Ukraine, and a printed display plate finishes the model.

The real Rosomak

Rosomak — Polish for wolverine — entered service in 2005 as a license-built version of the Finnish Patria AMV, reworked to stay light enough to swim and to fit inside a C-130 transport aircraft. More than a hundred served with Polish forces in Afghanistan, and Rosomaks have since been supplied to Ukraine.
