COBI's German Tank Crew set is built from 33 blocks and contains three figures of German armoured troops: a self-propelled gun crewman in the green uniform of the artillery branch, and two men in tank crew dress. Accessories and stands are included.

This set exists because the tanks come short-handed

A Panzer IV had a crew of five. A Tiger had five. A Panther had five. A Sherman had five, a T-34-85 five, a Churchill five.

COBI's tank sets typically include one figure, sometimes two. That is a sensible commercial decision — figures cost money and most buyers want the vehicle — and it leaves a model with four empty crew positions and open hatches.

Which is what this set is for. Three figures at this price is the cheapest way to populate a tank properly, and the uniform distinction matters: the green-uniformed figure belongs in a Sturmgeschütz or a Marder, because German self-propelled gun crews came from the artillery and wore artillery colours, not the black of the panzer arm.
