COBI F-35A Lightning II Husarz 1:300 Set 5926

COBI's F-35A Lightning II "Husarz" is a 1:300 display model built from 46 blocks under an official licence from Lockheed Martin. It comes with a stand carrying the aircraft name and a transparent support that holds the model as if in flight.

At 7 cm long it is a desk or shelf piece rather than a building project — an evening's work at most.

Why "Husarz"

Husarz is Polish for hussar, the winged cavalry that fought for the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth and remains one of the country's enduring military images. The name was chosen for Poland's F-35A fleet by public vote. Poland ordered 32 aircraft and the type replaces Soviet-era designs that had served the air force since the Cold War.
