COBI Boeing F-15 EX Eagle II Set 5900 (Damaged Box)

COBI's Boeing F-15EX Eagle II is a 1:48 model built from 739 blocks, 41.5 cm long, with movable ailerons, an opening cockpit, rotating wheels, two pilot figures and a display base with a plate.

Condition

This set is sold at a reduced price because the outer box is damaged — it may have holes, creases or crushed corners. The contents are brand new, sealed and complete. If you are building the model rather than collecting sealed boxes, the only difference is the price.

Nobody has ever shot one down

The F-15 is credited with 104 air-to-air victories and no losses in air combat — none, across five decades and several air forces.

That record is why this aircraft exists. By 2018 the US Air Force had a worn-out F-15C fleet, an expensive and slow-arriving F-35, and a great deal of ordinary work that does not need stealth. Buying brand-new aircraft to a 1970s design was cheaper per flight hour than anything else, and the design had not been beaten.

The EX is new-build with an AESA radar, digital flight controls and eleven weapon stations carrying up to 22 air-to-air missiles — more than any fighter in the world.
