BlueBrixx Stargate Movie 1994 Advent Calendar Set 108793 (Damaged Box)

BlueBrixx's Stargate Movie 1994 Advent Calendar is an officially licensed BlueBrixx-Pro set built from 1,030 blocks, containing 17 mini builds and 15 figures behind 24 doors. All parts are printed; no stickers.

Condition

This set is sold at a reduced price because the outer box is damaged — it may have holes, creases or crushed corners. The contents are brand new, sealed and complete. On an advent calendar the box is also the calendar, so if you intend to use it as one rather than build it straight through, that is worth weighing.

The 1994 film, not the series

Worth being clear about which Stargate this is. Roland Emmerich's film came first, in 1994, and the television series that followed three years later quietly disagreed with a great deal of it — different actors, a different Ra, a different explanation of who the Goa'uld are.

Emmerich and Dean Devlin had their own sequels planned and were never involved in the series. For years the two versions coexisted awkwardly, and fans argued about which counted.

This calendar is the film: the Giza dig, the desert of Abydos, the original gate design with its distinctive inner track. For anyone who came to Stargate through SG-1, it is the part of the story they probably know least.

Twenty-four days of small builds

1,030 pieces across 24 doors averages around 40 per day — a few minutes each, which is the right size for the format. Seventeen of the doors hold a model and the rest figures, so there is something to assemble most days rather than a run of accessories at the end.
