BlueBrixx's Star Trek Klingon Disruptor Rifle is an officially licensed BlueBrixx-Pro model built from 1,268 blocks at 1:1 scale — 613 × 191 × 232 mm, the size of the original prop. Licensed by CBS Studios, with a printed instruction manual. A display model: no firing action and no electronics.

Sixty-one centimetres is the whole point

Most brick models are representations of something larger. This one is the same size as the thing it depicts, and that changes what it is.

A 1:1 prop replica is an object you can pick up and hold as the actor did. Resin and 3D-printed replicas have occupied that market for years, and they arrive finished — you buy them, you display them. The brick version competes on the one thing they cannot offer: you make it yourself, and you understand how it is put together.

Practically it needs planning. At 61 centimetres this does not go on a shelf among other models — it wants a wall mount or a stand, displayed as a single object. And it is heavy enough that whatever holds it needs to mean it.

Klingon weapons are designed to look uncomfortable

Star Trek's art department gave the Klingons a consistent visual grammar: blades and points where other cultures put handles, aggressive asymmetry, and surfaces that appear to have been forged rather than manufactured.

The bat'leth is the obvious example — a sword with no guard that looks as though it would injure whoever swung it carelessly. The disruptor rifle follows the same logic: angular, front-heavy, with a silhouette that reads as a weapon before you identify any part of it.

That was deliberate. A culture built on honour through combat should carry equipment that demands skill and forgives nothing, and the props were drawn to say so without a line of dialogue.

In the BlueBrixx range

Set 104173 is the Klingon d'k tahg dagger, the companion prop replica. Sets 105418 (Borg Drone Bust), 105695 and 105696 are the other officially licensed Star Trek models.
