Somebody chose to model a weed
That is the interesting decision here. Brick flowers are usually roses, orchids, sunflowers β things people buy in shops. A dandelion is the plant most people spend money trying to remove from their lawn.
It is also, ecologically, one of the more useful things growing in a garden. Dandelions flower very early, before most other plants, at exactly the point when bees emerging from winter have nothing else to feed on. In a mown, tidy lawn they are frequently the only nectar source available for weeks.
The seed head is the other half of it. That sphere of perfectly arranged parachutes is one of the most elegant structures in a European garden, and it is the shape everybody recognises and nobody plants.
Choosing it over a rose is a small act of contrariness, which is entirely in keeping with Peanuts.
Why brick flowers exist as a category
Botanical sets went from nothing to a significant part of every manufacturer's range in about five years, and the reason is where they get put.
Most built models look like toys on an adult's desk. A flower in a pot does not β it reads as an ornament, sits on a windowsill or at work without explanation, and never needs water or drops petals. Adding Snoopy is BlueBrixx doing both at once.
