BlueBrixx Flower Booth Set 107420
BlueBrixx's Flower Booth is a BlueBrixx Play set built from 206 blocks, measuring 14.2 Γ 8 Γ 9 cm assembled, with a removable roof and an open back. Three figures: a vendor and two customers. Sunflowers, bouquets and the sign are printed; no stickers. Released August 2024.

A cut flower sold in a European market stall has almost certainly passed through one building, and the way it was sold there is unusual enough to have a name.
Royal FloraHolland at Aalsmeer handles a very large share of the world's cut flower trade, and it runs a Dutch auction β which works backwards. A clock face starts at a high price and the hand falls. The first buyer to press a button gets the lot, at whatever price the hand had reached.
That mechanism exists because flowers are perishable and there are thousands of lots to clear in a morning. A conventional auction, where bidders push a price upward, takes minutes per lot. A descending clock takes seconds, and hesitation costs you the flowers rather than money.
Roses cut in Kenya or Ethiopia are flown overnight, auctioned at dawn, and can be in a shop in Germany the same afternoon. The whole industry runs on the fact that a flower is worth less every hour.
What a stall adds to a brick town
A town of houses is an estate. What makes it read as a place is somebody standing behind a counter, and at 206 pieces this is one of the cheapest ways to add that β with three figures, which is generous at this size.
