BlueBrixx Barber Snoopy Set 107368 (Damaged Box)

BlueBrixx's Barber Snoopy is an officially licensed BlueBrixx-Pro model built from 647 blocks, reproducing Snoopy in a vintage barber's chair.

Condition

This set is sold at a reduced price because the outer box is damaged — it may have holes, creases or crushed corners. The contents are brand new, sealed and complete. If you are building the model rather than collecting sealed boxes, the only difference is the price.

Snoopy has always been somebody else

The barbershop is not a random setting. Charles Schulz's father was a barber in Saint Paul, Minnesota, and cut hair for forty-five years — and Schulz drew barbershops into Peanuts throughout the strip's run.

Snoopy himself is built on the same idea. He is a beagle who is constantly pretending to be something else: a First World War flying ace, a lawyer, a novelist, a college student named Joe Cool. The joke works because he commits entirely and nobody around him acknowledges it.

So a scene of Snoopy running a barbershop is exactly in character, and it is also a small tribute to the man who drew him.
