Qman's Blazing Mars is a Trans-Collector 6-in-1 set built from 496 blocks: six fire-service vehicles that combine into one large mech. Supplied as a strip of six individual boxes. Age 6+.

Six boxes, not one — and that is the useful part

This version comes as a retail display strip: six small separately sealed boxes joined together, each containing one of the six models with its own instructions.

The contents are identical to set 1416D, which packs the same six models into a single large gift box with a carry handle. The difference is entirely in the packaging, and it decides what the set is good for.

One large box is one present — wrapped, handed over, opened.

Six small boxes are six presents. An advent calendar without the calendar. Something for a party bag, a stocking, a reward jar, or six weeks of Friday afternoons handed out one at a time.

For a parent or a grandparent that is a genuinely different product, and it is worth knowing which one is in the basket.

Six vehicles, one mech

Each of the six is around 80 pieces — a short build of ten or fifteen minutes ending in something finished. Together they assemble into the Blazing Mars figure, which is the reason to build all of them.

That structure suits the age it is aimed at better than one long project: six completions rather than one, and a child can stop after any of them having succeeded rather than abandoned.
