COBI 300 Piece Training Camp Set 2412

COBI's Training Camp is built from 300 blocks into a military training facility with several structures and a jeep. Instructions are illustrated step by step, and the set includes a sheet of stickers alongside the printed parts. Age 5+, from the Small Army range.

This set is discontinued

Worth saying at the top: COBI no longer produces it. What is on the shelf is what exists, and when it is gone the only source will be the secondhand market.

That matters more for a set like this than for a vehicle. A discontinued tank can be replaced by a newer, better model of the same tank — COBI reissues subjects constantly. A location set is different: there is no updated training camp, and if you are building a Small Army scene this is not coming back.

A place rather than an object

Most of COBI's output is one vehicle, finished when built. This is the other kind — buildings, a yard, a jeep, and no correct configuration. A child decides what happens there, and that sort of play lasts longer than a completed model does.

It also gives the rest of a collection somewhere to be. Small Army vehicles and figures on a shelf are a row of things; the same vehicles around a camp are a scene.

Note on the stickers

Unlike COBI's Historical Collection, which uses pad printing throughout, this set includes stickers for some markings. That is normal for the older Small Army line and worth knowing if sticker-free construction matters to you.
