2008 Upper Deck MLS Soccer Box | 36 Packs | Factory Sealed

Thirty-six packs of ten cards, with two game-used jersey cards in every box, as printed on the box itself. The 2008 Upper Deck MLS set has a 200-card base set covering Major League Soccer's thirteenth season. It was released on August 29, 2008.

The jersey cards come from the MLS Materials set, and David Beckham is part of it. Beckham joined the LA Galaxy in 2007 as the first player signed under MLS's Designated Player Rule, adopted in November 2006 and quickly nicknamed the "Beckham Rule": it let each club pay one player beyond the league's salary cap. Before it, no MLS club could have afforded him. The 2008 set shows the league in its second season with Beckham, and his game-used jersey is part of the memorabilia pool in this box.

Autographs come from MLS Marks, numbered to 30 or fewer, with signers including Landon Donovan, Sacha Kljestan and Taylor Twellman. The inserts are Super Draft 2008, Goal Scorers, Keepers, Young Guns and Assist Kings. Autographs are inserted at random and are not guaranteed in any box.
