The 1993-94 season arrived with the league at full stretch: Gretzky in Los Angeles, Lindros in his second year in Philadelphia, Roy between the pipes in Montreal on the way to a Cup, and Bure flying up the wing in Vancouver. Upper Deck photographed all of it in the glossy style that had made the brand's name.

Each hobby box holds 36 packs of 12 cards.

Inserts and their pack odds:

  • Gretzky's Great Ones — 1:15 packs
  • Award Winners — 1:36 packs
  • Next In Line — 1:36 packs
  • SP cards — 1:80 packs

The SP cards are the ones worth knowing about. This release was the debut of the SP brand on the ice, and at 1:80 they fall well short of one per box — thirty-six packs against odds of eighty means most boxes come up empty. That scarcity is why they still get chased three decades later.

This box is factory sealed and has not been searched or resealed.
