What this set is

A hundred-piece aircraft from COBI's older and simpler line. There is no modelling scale, no real aircraft behind it, and no pretence of one — the Invader is a generic fast jet designed to be played with rather than displayed.

That is worth stating plainly, because COBI is now much better known for its Historical Collection: 1:32 and 1:48 models of specific aircraft, with museum licences, pad-printed squadron markings and pilot figures. Someone buying on the strength of that reputation should know this is a different product from a different era of the company.

As what it is, it does the job. A hundred pieces is around twenty minutes, the result is sturdy enough to be flown around a room by a child, and at this price it is a reasonable first brick set.
