Rittenhouse Archives released Star Trek: Voyager Archives and Inscriptions in July 2026, limited to 500 cases. This is what is actually in a box, what the odds are, and which cards are worth watching for.
The configuration
A hobby box holds 24 packs of 5 cards. Every box contains 4 “Big Hits”, of which at least 3 are autograph cards. A sealed case holds 12 boxes.
Three autographs per box is generous by the standards of the category. Most licensed card products of this kind promise one or two.
The base set is not one set
Sixty cards, one for each of sixty Voyager characters, each carrying a memorable line of dialogue. That part is conventional.
What is not conventional: Rittenhouse printed more than 200 different quote variations across those sixty cards. The same character card exists with different lines on it.
The practical consequence is that “complete base set” and “complete collection” have become two different things. Two collectors can both own all sixty and hold visibly different cards. Chasing every variation is a project measured in cases, not boxes.
The odds, set by set

At 1:24 packs, the Animated Legacy cards work out to one per box on average, and there are twelve of them. Completing that set alone is a twelve-box proposition if the distribution is kind, and it rarely is.
The nine script cards
The Voyager Script Cut Cards are cut from original production scripts. Nine exist. No more can be made, because the source is finite and has already been cut up.
This is the category of card that does not behave like the rest of the set. A sketch card or a relic can be reprinted in a later product; a piece of a 1997 shooting script cannot.
What a sealed case guarantees
Three things come only with an unopened case:
- One Kate Mulgrew or Jeri Ryan autograph, averaged across the production run
- Four Inscription autograph cards — signed with a line of dialogue or a character name beside the signature, which makes each one effectively unique
- The three-card topper set: CT1 Captain Janeway, CT2 Seven of Nine, CT3 The Doctor. These are not in the packs at all.
Here is the arithmetic that makes the Mulgrew and Ryan cards interesting. Five hundred cases, one such card per case: roughly 500 of them exist worldwide, split between two signers. Somewhere around 250 each, for the two leads of a series that ran seven seasons.
Buying a single box, your chance at one is about 1 in 12.
Who signed
All autographs are signed on-card — directly onto the card itself rather than onto a sticker applied afterwards. For most collectors that distinction matters more than any insert ratio.
The complete principal cast signed: Kate Mulgrew (Captain Janeway), Jeri Ryan (Seven of Nine), Roxann Dawson (B'Elanna Torres), Robert Beltran (Chakotay), Robert Duncan McNeill (Tom Paris), Robert Picardo (The Doctor), Ethan Phillips (Neelix), Garrett Wang (Harry Kim), Tim Russ (Tuvok).
Guest signers include John de Lancie as Q, Sarah Silverman as Rain Robinson, Jason Alexander as Doctor Noum, Ed Begley Jr. as Henry Starling, Virginia Madsen as Kellin, Martha Hackett as Seska, Martin Rayner as Dr. Chaotica, Titus Welliver as Cmdr. Burke, Kirsten Turner as Constance Goodheart, Paul Williams as Koru, Rachael Harris as Martis.
Two names from Star Trek: Prodigy are also in the mix — Rylee Alazraqui as Rok-Tahk and Angus Imrie as Zero. Prodigy continues Voyager's story: Janeway is in it, and Kate Mulgrew voices her. Including the animated cast in a Voyager set is a reasonable decision rather than a stretch.
Look for randomly inserted Inscription, Dual and Canvas autographs.
Box or case?
A box is the cheaper way to find out what the product feels like, and with three autographs guaranteed it is not a lottery ticket.
A case is the only way to get the Mulgrew or Ryan card, the Inscriptions and the toppers with certainty — and at 500 cases worldwide, the supply of unopened ones has a visible floor.
