The USS "Wahoo" (SS-238) is a Gato-type submarine serving in the United States Navy, which distinguished itself in fighting in the Pacific during World War II. Historical sources say that the ship sent as many as 20 Japanese ships to the bottom. It was 95.02 meters long and 8.31 meters wide. Its crew consisted of 80 officers and sailors. It was sunk on October 11, 1943. Its wreck was not found until October 31, 2006. It was given the nickname "One-sub Wolf Pack" due to its great efficiency and prowess.
