A rally car built to be sold
Most rally cars are built for a factory team. The GR Yaris Rally2 was built for everyone else. It is the first car that Toyota Gazoo Racing's world rally team designed from the start for customers: privateer teams, national champions and young drivers who buy the car and enter it themselves in the Rally2 category, one level below the top class.
Before it went on sale, the car covered more than 13,000 kilometers of testing on gravel, asphalt and snow, driven by factory drivers such as Kalle RovanperΓ€ and Elfyn Evans as well as national champions. It made its competition debut at the 2024 Monte Carlo Rally and won for the first time at Rally de Portugal that same season.
In the COBI range
Sets 24691 and 24692 are the same car on its own, in red and in black. The Subaru Impreza WRX (24648) and WRX STI (24649) are road versions of an earlier rally car, in the same 1:35 scale.
