COBI Audi RS4 Red Set 24670

COBI's Audi RS4 in red is a 1:35 model of the B9-generation RS 4 Avant, built from 100 blocks under an official Audi license. The wheels turn on rubber tires.

An engine finished in England

The first RS 4 went on sale in 2000, and its engine did not come from Ingolstadt alone. Audi took the 2.7-liter twin-turbo V6 from the S4 and sent it to Cosworth Technology in Northampton, England, which Audi owned from 1998 to 2004. Cosworth reworked the cylinder heads, the turbochargers and the exhaust, and built the engines there.

The result was 380 PS in a family estate, a figure that very few cars of any shape offered in 2000. Like the RS2 before it, the first RS 4 was sold only as an Avant. Every generation since has kept that body, including the B9 of 2017 modeled here, with a 2.9-liter V6 of 450 PS.
