Rittenhouse's Umbrella Academy autograph expansion packs are some of the smallest releases in trading cards. Each of the three series ran to 200 packs in total — not cases, not boxes, packs — and every card in every pack is signed. This is how the three differ.
How the format works
An expansion pack contains no base cards and no inserts, only autographs. Each series was issued in two fixed configurations, Pack A and Pack B, with different signatures in each. For Series 2 and Series 3, one pack of each completes the set: no duplicates and no gaps.
Because the configurations differ, a collector after one particular signature should ask which pack is in stock before ordering.
The first series
Released in January 2024. 15 autographs per pack. The signers include Tom Hopper, Emmy Raver-Lampman, David Castañeda, Aidan Gallagher, Robert Sheehan, Justin Min, Ritu Arya and Colm Feore. The dual autographs pair Hopper with Sheehan, Sheehan with Min, Jordan Claire Robbins with Castañeda, and Castañeda with Raver-Lampman.
Series 2
Released in March 2024. 13 autographs per pack. Duals of Gallagher with Castañeda and Hopper with Raver-Lampman, relic autographs of Tom Hopper and David Castañeda, and a random Sheila McCarthy inscription variation in each pack. The signer list adds the season's new faces, among them Marin Ireland, Cameron Britton and Sean Sullivan.
Series 3
14 autographs per pack. Seventeen bordered autographs, three duals and two relic autographs. Pack A includes the Sheehan and Castañeda and the Hopper and Gallagher duals and an Emmy Raver-Lampman autograph relic; Pack B the Hopper and Castañeda dual and a Robert Sheehan autograph relic.
The series finished on Netflix in August 2024, so the checklist is closed. There will be no further expansion packs with new faces.
