Lost ran for six seasons on an island that turned out to be more than an island, and it produced card sets from two different manufacturers. Our catalog holds sealed product from both. This is what each contains.
InkWorks, Season 2 (2006)
InkWorks' Season 2 set was released in 2006 and comes in two box sizes, both with 7 cards per pack: a 36-pack box and a 24-pack box. The base set is 90 cards. Around it are autograph cards and Pieceworks, InkWorks' name for its costume relic cards, together with “?” puzzle cards and Betrayal foil cards.
The second season is the one of the hatch, the button and the other survivors from the tail section, and the insert names follow it.
Rittenhouse, Lost Relics (2011)
After the series ended, Rittenhouse released Lost Relics, a premium product built entirely from hits. A pack holds 4 cards: 3 relic cards and 1 autograph. There are no base cards at all.
A relic card carries a fragment of material from the production, usually costume, behind a window in the card. It is worth reading the wording on the back: it certifies where the material came from, and productions kept many copies of every costume, so a relic is a piece of the show's wardrobe rather than a particular shirt from a particular scene. Lost's costumes were deliberately weathered, which gives these fragments a look of their own.
Choosing between them
The InkWorks boxes are the set builder's option, from the middle of the show's run, with the chance of an autograph or a Pieceworks card along the way. Lost Relics is four guaranteed hits in one pack, from after the finale.
Which cards a box or pack contains is random, and no specific signer or relic is guaranteed.
