Cryptozoic's second Walking Dead set builds an 80-card base set entirely from episode footage rather than posed promo shots, and leaves the episode labels off the cards — the season is treated as one long story instead of thirteen separate chapters. The autograph line-up is what carried the release: Andrew Lincoln and Sarah Wayne Callies signed for the first time here, both having been absent from the Season 1 set. Norman Reedus, IronE Singleton, Jeffrey DeMunn, Madison Lintz and Scott Wilson round out the roster.

The first Walking Dead set turned into a modern classic almost overnight — boxes tripled in price within months — and Season 2 launched at double the suggested retail of its predecessor as a result. It was released on 11 December 2012 in a production run of 6,400 boxes, and sealed product has only grown scarcer since. This box is new and factory sealed.
