COBI At The Vet Set 1740

COBI's At The Vet is built from 100 blocks: a veterinary clinic with an examination table, an X-ray facility, an armchair, a desk, a laptop and a first-aid kit. The examination lamp swings on a movable arm and glows in the dark. Two figures are included, a vet and a cat, with a stethoscope and a vase.

Why the X-ray machine is the right detail

A veterinary clinic uses imaging far more heavily than a doctor's surgery does, and the reason is simple: the patient cannot tell you where it hurts.

A human patient describes the pain, says when it started, and answers questions. A cat does none of that, and will actively hide illness — concealing weakness is a survival instinct, and by the time a cat looks unwell it has usually been unwell for some time.

So the vet works from what can be observed and measured: physical examination, blood work, and images. An X-ray answers questions the patient will not.

COBI has put the machine in a hundred-piece set, which is a better choice than another piece of furniture.
